  1. PRIVACY AND COOKIES POLICY
    1. General provisions.

    3. The terms written in the Policy with a capital letter, unless otherwise stated in the content of the Policy, have the meaning specified in the Regulations of the Store.
    4. The term “User” means, depending on the context, the Customer or a person who wants to become a Customer or an Internet user visiting the Store’s website.
  2. Personal Data Administrator.
    The administrator of Personal Data is Artecowood.
  3. Scope of processed personal data.
    1. In order to use the services offered by Artecowood via the Store, the User must complete the appropriate form. It is required to provide certain personal data there.
    2. Artecowood processes clients’ personal data in the scope of:
      • e-mail adress,
      • name,
      • name,
      • address,
      • phone number,
      • the address to which the order is to be sent, if different from the address of residence,
      • if the customer wants a VAT invoice to be issued documenting the purchase of goods, additional data will also be needed: the company under which the business activity is conducted and the business address (if the invoice is to be issued to the company), NIP number.
    3. Providing personal data is voluntary, however, it is necessary to complete the order or provide services to the User via the Store.
    4. The basis for verification of a registered Customer in the store at artecowood.com is the email address provided during registration and the Customer’s individual password. Artecowood recommends duly securing the password against access by unauthorized persons. In the registration process, the customer chooses a password that cannot be shorter than 8 characters and not longer than 30 characters; it is recommended that the password contain letters and numbers or special characters.
    5. Artecowood hereby informs that it never requests the e-mail address and password in the content of the e-mail or in any other place than the form on the website.
    6. It is forbidden to provide unlawful personal data.
  4. Rights of data subjects.
    1. The user has the right to access their personal data and can verify or correct them, as well as delete them by sending an appropriate request to the administrator of the online store www.artecowood.com. Personal data of registered Customers of the online store can be viewed, corrected and changed by them after logging in to the Store’s website using the password and email address provided during registration.

    1. Users’ personal data is processed for the purpose necessary to perform the services offered through the Store.

Each user of the service has the option of changing or deleting the e-mail address provided at any time by clicking the appropriate link available in the newsletter sent to the e-mail address or by sending a message to Artecowood at [email protected]
    3. On the basis of additional and optional consent, which the User may express in a separate statement, Artecowood may process Customers’ personal data for marketing purposes. If the Customer grants such consent, it may then be revoked at any time.
  7. Data collected automatically.
    1. Cookie files (“cookies”).
      The www.ArtEcoWood.com website may use cookies. Cookies are small text files sent by the online store and stored on the user’s end device (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone), containing certain information related to the use of the website and online store.
      Cookies are used by www.artecowood.com to operate the website and during the purchasing process, e.g. to remember purchases made by customers.
      The cookies used may be temporary or permanent. Temporary cookies are deleted when the browser is closed, while permanent cookies are also stored after using the website.

    Artecowood uses the technical measures required by the current provisions on the protection of personal data to prevent the acquisition and modification by unauthorized persons of personal data sent electronically.
